The trails can very from being high on a cliff to standing below a waterfall. A great way to go is by purchasing A DAY HIKE GUIDE from any tourist information center. The colors in the fall are a painter paradise. The reds, oranges and yellow can stretch for miles and miles. In the distance you can see a small river flowing down from the escarpment. Fall is a Great time to hike. No bugs, less people, not to hot, and the views are spectacular.

LAKE FRANCIS COTTAGES IN THE FALL

LAKE FRANCIS is a private inland lake. It is very quiet and peaceful. The trees in the fall, dress the lake with a beautiful back drop of colors. Flocks of geese stop in for the evening, before heading to their winter homes. The lake is like a piece of glass, you can canoe along the shores looking for turtles and beavers. It is a really nice time to sit by a fire located at the waters edge. In the distance you can hear the cry of the coyotes.
