The dunes are home to many rare and unique plants, grasses, and birds.  Sauble Beach sunsets are some of the best in the world!  Wave action creates a lot of fun, but they can sometimes be quite large, so be aware with young children. Bicycles and jet skis are available for rent, or play mini golf, go on water trampolines, visit the arcade or amusement park, or enjoy the many restaurants and unique shops.  Hourly and daily paid parking is in effect along the beach, some side streets, and in the municipal lots.  Public washrooms are available. Guest include local country music artist Tommy Gilham, The Black Family of Markdale, former Tanglefoot members Steve and Rob Ritchie and Al Parrish. Other performers include Rob McLean, Don Buchanan, Jamie Smith and members of Dancemakers Dance Studio. Also appearing will be Pastor Dave Oppertshauser from Sauble Christian Fellowship Church recently back from Haiti to speak about his experiences. Several local businesses have graciously offered to sponsor the minimal expenses associated with this concert so that 100% of the proceeds can go to the cause. They include Dancemakers/Sportmakers, Tannahill Funeral Home, The Roxy Theatre and Bayshore Broadcasting.
