Sauble Beach Sunset Volleyball Festival-July 16-17
Sauble Beach will be home to the always popular Sunset Volleyball Festival. The two days will have an Official OVA Tournament, along with recreational Co-ed 6’s & competitive 4’s tournament. They have partnered with Rock the Beach and United Way this year, with the registration proceeds supporting local United Way initiatives. Rock the Beach is providing a great line-up of live local bands all day Saturday and Sunday. Ian Thornley and Big Wreck will headline this years festival. Classic Car Show Sauble Beach 2011
Tuesday nights during July and August at Sauble Beach’s Lakeshore Blvd, you don’t want to miss the outdoor dancehall with live 50’s 60’s music. This night also features the Sunset Cruisers Cruise Night, showcasing some of the most beautiful vintage cars in the area. Bayfest 2011 Sarnia Rogers Bayfest
Bayfest in Sarnia started back in 1999 with a single performance and has grown to a two weekend event. Every summer a flood of national and international tourists come for the annual festival. Rogers Bayfest has done wonders for the city of Sarnia. Last year alone more then 75,000 people from 12 of Canada’s provinces and territories, 27 states and great distances overseas attended. The festival is not only one of the largest tourist attractions for the area, but also one of the biggest economic stimulators. Fergus Truck Show
The Fergus Truck Show has grown to be North America’s largest truck show, both in paid attendance and the number of the big truck. The Fergus Truck Show is proud to feature over 150 million dollars worth of trucks, trailers, equipment, accessories and more, on display. The event is held at the Centre Wellington Community Sportplex, located at 550 Belsyde Avenue, Fergus, Ontario. The Fergus Truck Show has been entertaining guests for 25 years. It also rents close to 50 acres for camping, parking and show space. There is rough camping and some hydro sites are available at the grounds. Fergus is located approximately 60 miles west of Toronto, Ontario. Friday July 22nd Entertainment- Tribute Bands will rock the night away playing CCR, Kiss and Bryan Adams.
