Summer is just around the corner. There are many different things to see and do. We are blessed with living on The Bruce Peninsula near Sauble Beach the Daytona Beach of Ontario. We try as a family to also experience as many different things as we can in the summer. Last year Ray and I were able to go to Rock The Park an outdoor event at Harris Park in London Ontario. This was the second year we attended this event. The line up in 2011 Featured Stone Temple Pilots, Our Lady Peace, Sloan and Bleeker Ridge, Meatloaf, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult and Bad Co’s Brian Howe and more…. Get your tickets early they sell out fast. This is a Great event that you don’t want to miss in 2012. Summer goes by very quickly so make it a Great one and try renting one of our cottages. Lake Francis Cottages is located 10 minutes from Owen Sound and 20 minutes from Sauble Beach The Datona Beach Of Ontario. We are on a private inland lake with lots of Great Bass fishing and swimming. Owen Sound Ribfest
Kelso Beach will be smoken this Sept 15, 16, 17 & 18th with the smells of different BBQ sauces. Five professional “ribbers” make this one of their many stops on the 2011 North American tour. These teams compete for trophies including best ribs and sauce. This is a family event with free gate admission and live music. Vistors only have to pay for food and beverages.
