Chi-Cheemaun-Big Canoe In Owen Sound
The Big Canoe was to arrive in Owen Sounds harbour last night at 10pm. and will be docked along the wall till spring. The ferry was on its way back from Thunder Bay after an extensive inspection. The cost for repairs and work was to total approx. 1.7 million dollars. Make your way this morning to down town Owen Sound to finish up some last minute shopping and you will see the Big Canoe is back and at home for the winter.
