First Nation
Cape Croker Indian Park -POW WOW 2010
Cape Croker is a special place to spend the day to camp. Ray and I camped many times with our kids and friends over the years at this park. The view is incredible, the water is clean and fresh, the hiking is great and the people are wonderful. The Cape Croker Park is the venue for their annual traditional first nation POW WOW. Held during mid-August, the ongoing theme of the Pow Wow is “Honour our Veterans and Elders”. This is a gathering of people to celebrate their rich heritage through the drum, song, and dance. The costumes, music and shows are truly a very unique presentation of the present and past. For moere info feel free to contact Cape Croker Indian Park at 519-534-0571. Make is a great getaway weekend and stay at Lake Francis Cottages located 45min from this park.
