Fall Colors
Lake Francis is the best kept secret in the Bruce Peninsula. The air is clean, the water is fresh, the loons are calling and The Bass are waiting to be caught. Summer is Great but Fall is also a Beautiful time of year. The lake becomes very still for the fishermen and the trails becomes very tranquil for hikers looking to see wildlife. Sauble Beach Cottage Rentals will be quiet very soon and the strip will be saying goodbye to the many guests that have enjoyed the beach. It will become a ghost town until next year. Guests at Lake Francis Cottages take advantage of any season because of its location. Do something different and check out the Fall colors across the lake, horseback through the woods, see the many different waterfalls, hike the Bruce Trail, enjoy the crisp nights under the stars. Come and relax, read a book, barbecue, roast marshmellows, canoe around the lake or just kick back and smile as the Canadian Geese fly in for a stop on the lake before saying farewell.
